Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, development, and integration of PLM and digital manufacturing solutions.
  • Translate manufacturing and business objectives into system requirements, processes, and technical solutions.
  • Define and improve manufacturing processes supporting the product digital thread.
  • Drive integration between PLM, ERP, MES, and other enterprise systems.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Quality, Engineering, Sustainment, and Digital Transformation teams.
  • Analyze complex manufacturing problems and develop effective technology-based solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout system planning, implementation, and integration activities.
  • Support the development of manufacturing processes including BOMs, process plans, production scheduling, configuration management, tooling, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure solutions are scalable, integrated, and aligned with business requirements.
  • Evaluate current processes and identify opportunities for digital transformation and process improvement.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PLM Process/Systems Architect to lead the planning, development, and integration of advanced manufacturing technologies within a complex aerospace environment.

This role will serve as a technical authority for PLM and digital manufacturing, helping define the next generation of manufacturing systems and translating Aero Operations' strategic objectives into scalable business and technical requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience across PLM, ERP, MES, aerospace manufacturing, systems architecture, and digital thread initiatives, along with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture, development, and integration of PLM and digital manufacturing solutions
  • Translate manufacturing and business objectives into system requirements, processes, and technical solutions
  • Define and improve manufacturing processes supporting the product digital thread
  • Drive integration between PLM, ERP, MES, and other enterprise systems

Preferred / Desired Skills
  • Experience with Siemens Teamcenter and/or 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX)
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, OneAero, ERP4C, or similar ERP manufacturing platforms
