Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer in Irving, TX to design, develop, and maintain internal business applications, automate reporting, and optimize data workflows. You will build solutions with C#, .NET, React, SQL, and Power BI to enable data-driven decision making and improve operational efficiency.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, collaboration with PLM and Operations, and a focus on scalable, reliable software in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
• Hands-on experience developing modern web applications using React.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications using C#, .NET, and React.
• Build and enhance automated reporting and analytics solutions using SQL and Power BI, replacing manual reporting processes with real-time dashboards and insights.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain relational database structures, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and performance.
• Own software features end-to-end, from requirements gathering and design through development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PLM, Operations, and Business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and production-ready code with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot application and data issues, implement fixes, and continuously improve system reliability and performance.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and best practices within the engineering team.

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Software Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain internal business applications, automated reporting solutions, and data workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET, React, SQL, and Power BI, and will be responsible for delivering scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency and enable data-driven decision-making.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications using C#, .NET, and React.
• Build and enhance automated reporting and analytics solutions using SQL and Power BI, replacing manual reporting processes with real-time dashboards and insights.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Pay Range:

$100K-$110K

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements

This role is considered an on-site position located in Irving, Texas

• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
