Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) seeks a PLM/PDM Administrator to own the CAD-to-PLM data path and master workflows across mechanical, electrical, and software domains. You will configure environments, manage revisions, and ensure alignment with ASI's quality controls.

The role emphasizes CAD-to-PLM handoffs, ECO/ECR processes, and cross-functional collaboration in a production setting. Occasional travel and remote work are possible as ASI expands its PLM capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, information systems, or related field, or equivalent hands-on PLM administration experience.
• 3+ years administering Arena PLM: workflows, approvals, lifecycle, item/BOM structures, permissions.
• Demonstrated ownership of CAD-to-PLM data path including BOM extraction, file release, revision control.
• Experience with engineering change management: ECR/ECO processes and item lifecycle states.
• Experience in a production environment where released PLM data drives purchasing, build, and supplier activity.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent (AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949).
• Strong cross-functional communication to drive process adoption.

Responsibilities

• Own CAD-to-PLM handoff for mechanical/electrical design data: BOM extraction, mapping, and keeping data in sync.
• Configure and maintain workflows, routing, lifecycle phases, and item attributes across teams.
• Administer users, roles, and permissions for data access and export controls.
• Maintain revision and release control for CAD files, drawings, and documentation.
• Align PLM processes with quality/configuration management and support audits.
• Train users and document configuration to avoid single-person dependency.
