Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Austin, TX seeks a PLM Lead to bridge IT development and business units for Teamcenter PLM within the I2P value stream. You will define functional requirements, perform migrations, and shape product master data objects.

You will partner with stakeholders to evaluate, configure, and integrate Teamcenter PLM modules with ERP (SAP), CRM, and MES, delivering practical, scalable solutions and enforcing governance and best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE or related field.
• 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience including Teamcenter PLM implementation.
• Experience with Teamcenter integration to ERP/SAP, CRM, and MES.
• Knowledge of Teamcenter product architecture, data modeling, and ITK tooling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between IT development and business units for PLM system development and enhancements.
• Evaluate new Teamcenter modules, requirements, and integrations with ERP/CRM/MES.
• Lead end-to-end functional delivery: requirements, validation, UAT, and governance of Teamcenter PLM.
• Design the I2P product hierarchy and master data structures and oversee data migrations.
• Provide guidance on architecture, deployment, and best practices for Teamcenter implementations.

Summary of Role:

Act as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Evaluate new applications and identify systems requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.
• Evaluate new applications and identify systems requirements.
• Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate system alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
• Prepare communications and make presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.
• Assist in the end-to-end process design, build, test, integration of I2P ( Idea to Product) value stream and provide functional & technical guidance for Architecture, Deployment of Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define and validate Teamcenter PLM [Product Life Cycle Management] functional requirements, configurations, and solution design specifications.
• Evaluate Teamcenter PLM capabilities, modules, and integrations to ensure solutions aligned with business processes.
• Design of the key I2P enterprise product hierarchy & structure and product master data objects.
• Responsible for functional specifications, data conversion, integration specifications related to the I2P value stream.
• Identify and recommend functional improvements to enhance Teamcenter PLM workflows, usability, and system effectiveness within Teamcenter.
• Define and enforce functional standards, best practices, and governance for Teamcenter implementations and enhancements.
• Lead end-to-end functional delivery, including requirement management, solution validation, UAT support, and alignment with enterprise Teamcenter PLM strategy.
• Responsible for implementing the industry’s best practices to manage Business processes using the Teamcenter PLM Out of the Box (OOTB) capabilities.
• Ability to perform Teamcenter POCs (Proof of Concept) based on Functional PLM Business Process.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Education – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent
• Experience – 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any business engineering/analyst related job titles.
• Applicants must have 5 years of experience in the following: (1) Teamcenter Functional PLM business process knowledge including designing, and implementing in Teamcenter; (2) Managing Siemens PLM Teamcenter implementation; (3) PLM technical strategies; (4) Teamcenter product architecture and its integration frameworks and Functional capabilities in Product Master Data and Product Change Management; (5) data migration, mapping, data validation to Teamcenter from legacy applications; (6) PLM Teamcenter Experience with integration of Teamcenter with ERP(SAP), CRM, MES System; (7) Teamcenter 2-tier/4-tier/Web/Active Workspace/multi-site architecture; and (8) Teamcenter ITK Tool development with C/C++.

Expected Salary Range
