Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a PLM Solution Consultant to help shape the digital landscape and enable faster decision-making through integrated data and workflows.

You will partner with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to implement modern PLM practices, MBSE, and AI-enabled analytics, enhancing product development and operational performance across the CA SF Bay Area. This role offers hybrid work options and a path to impact Lam’s growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
• 6–8 years in operations, business process improvement, digital transformation, or systems implementation.
• Understanding of PLM, product lifecycle, manufacturing or engineering processes.
• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter and NX.
• Knowledge of NPI, product configuration, BOM management and workflows.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience identifying process improvements and evaluating new tools.
• Ability to translate concepts into business value and align stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and tech teams to improve connected tools and data.
• Support transformation of engineering and product development processes.
• Apply NPI lifecycle knowledge to improve efficiency.
• Adopt MBSE, digital twins, and digital thread initiatives.
• Streamline ETO/CTO processes and improve configuration management.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Quoting, IT, and Product Management.
• Participate in business transformation projects to boost productivity.
• Evaluate and implement solutions to improve data quality and UX.
• Support AI, ML, and analytics integration into processes.
• Promote continuous improvement and change management.
