Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is seeking a Design Tech System Specialist to support MARINA INNOVATION CENTER engineering teams. You will manage CAE/PLM licenses, coordinate system upgrades, and collaborate with Marine division sites to plan a tech roadmap for CAD/CAE tools.

The role requires Teamcenter and NX administration expertise, plus experience with PLM systems and cost monitoring. Occasional travel and close interaction with multiple Yamaha facilities are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
5+ years of experience.
Teamcenter Administration experience or other PLM or equivalent
Siemens NX usage / Administration experience or equivalent

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain all CAE & PLM software licenses & maintenance packages to ensure timely payment and legal compliance for MIC and partnering engineering teams.
Coordinate CAD/CAE system wide version customization, upgrades, and troubleshooting of usage issues.
Support the financial justification and approval process for new or upgraded CAE tools; monitor cost and utilization.
Develop a technology roadmap with Yamaha Marine design and manufacturing sites to transition to new CAE tools.
Support of 2D/3D plotters, printers and other MIC digital equipment.
Coordinate documentation releases via Siemens Teamcenter with QA, factories and design centers.
