Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is seeking a Design Tech System Specialist for our facility in Marietta, GA. You will support engineering development teams with CAE/PLM systems, manage licenses, budgets, and roadmaps for Siemens NX, Teamcenter and related tools.

You’ll coordinate tool upgrades, troubleshoot utilization issues, and ensure CAE documentation is accessible as tools evolve. Travel is minimal, and you’ll contribute to a diverse, inclusive work culture at Yamaha MIC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience
• Teamcenter Administration experience or other PLM or equivalent
• Siemens NX usage / Administration experience or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all CAE & PLM software licenses & maintenance packages and annual budgets for MIC and partnering teams.
• Coordinate CAD/CAE system-wide version customization, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Support acquisition of new or upgraded CAE tools and manage cost/utilization reporting.
• Work with Yamaha Marine design/manufacturing sites to create a technology roadmap for CAE tools and data extraction for ERP/MRP.
