Job summary

Roth is seeking a Machine Operator in Washington, NC to set up and run pleating and filter media equipment in a high-purity cleanroom. You will ensure product integrity, monitor process parameters, and maintain strict contamination control to meet production targets.

The role requires following GMP/ISO standards, precise documentation, and hands-on troubleshooting in a controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in cleanroom, medical device, or high-purity environments is desirable.
• Familiarity with GMP and cleanroom protocols is highly desirable.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Roth pleating machines and related equipment.
• Follow cleanroom protocols including gowning and material handling.
• Monitor machine parameters and adjust for product integrity.
• Load filter media using approved clean handling techniques.
• Perform in-process inspections for quality and dimensions.
• Identify non-conforming materials per quality procedures.
• Document batch records and logs accurately per GDP.
• Clean and perform minor maintenance on equipment per standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and escalate deviations as needed.
• Adhere to GMP, ISO, and quality system requirements.
• Participate in audits, training, and Lean initiatives.
