Job summary

Cumberland County School District is seeking a part-time kitchen team member to support daily lunch and food service operations for students and staff, under the kitchen manager’s guidance and supervision.

You will help with food preparation, service, and food safety while maintaining quality, cleanliness and customer service for students, staff, and visitors. The schedule follows the school year, with paid holidays, meals provided, and potential for summer work.

Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of kitchen services as assigned.
• Ensure food safety and food quality.
• Deliver excellent customer service for students, staff and visitors.
• Perform a variety of operations as assigned by the kitchen manager or assistant kitchen manager.

Job description

The job of kitchen team member was established for the purposes of providing all aspects of kitchen services as assigned; ensuring food safety, food quality and excellent customer service for students, staff and visitors; performing a variety of operations as assigned by the kitchen manager and/or assistant kitchen manager.

This is a part time position working aproximatly 5.5 hours per day Monday - Friday. This position can be very rewarding but it has limited benefits.
