Job summary

Hydro Extrusions is seeking a technician to support PLC-controlled equipment, wiring, and diagnostics at our North America operations. You will work with PLCs and HMIs, assist in wiring, and help maintain automation systems.

The role requires 0–5 years of experience with PLCs, a basic understanding of ladder logic, and familiarity with industrial sensors and networks. On-site opportunities with comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of experience troubleshooting and supporting PLC-controlled equipment.
• Basic understanding of ladder logic troubleshooting and fault isolation techniques.
• Knowledge of industrial sensors, transmitters, and control devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of PLCs and automation equipment.
• Basic wiring, PLC and HMI setup; assist in wiring and installation of PLC hardware.
• Perform basic diagnostics and troubleshooting under supervision.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and PLC I/O diagrams.
• Support senior technicians in system testing and commissioning.
