Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Vineland, NJ is seeking a Controls Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation and process control systems on high-speed production lines.

You will lead troubleshooting, perform root cause analysis, and train Electro-Mechanics across shifts while ensuring GMP, safety and quality standards. This on-site role offers 1st and 2nd shift options with a $45–$46/hr pay and a $1.50/hr shift differential for 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls experience.
• Knowledge of layouts, P&IDs, schematics and interconnections.
• Experience with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi programming.
• Ability to read manuals, maintenance instructions and be safety conscious.
• Valid driver's license; food/bakery or continuous process exp is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation and process control systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for electrical and controls faults.
• Train Electro-Mechanics across all shifts and coordinate maintenance activity.
• Oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives and networks.

Weekend availability is required as production needs dictate.We're hiring Controls Technicians for a large commercial bakery in Swedesboro, NJ.
