Job summary

Kaygen, Inc. seeks a Field Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair PLC-driven systems in diverse industrial environments.

You will read electrical and mechanical drawings, work with Toyopuc, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allen-Bradley PLCs, and travel to sites as needed. The role requires a 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience, willingness to travel up to 65% (including international), and the ability to work overtime when required.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or completion of a trade school program (EET or Industrial Maintenance Technology) or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Willingness to travel up to 65% (including international travel).
• Ability to work up to 50% overtime when required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs on occasion.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch on varying surfaces.
• Manual dexterity to operate hand and power tools and machinery.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Good vision and hand-eye coordination for detailed repairs.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, or confined environments.
• Stamina to perform repetitive tasks and long shifts.

• Strong PLC programming/troubleshooting ( Toyopuc, Seimens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allen Bradley)- 2 years
• Comprehensive knowledge of PLC’s - 2 years
• Comprehensive knowledge of Electrical circuits and Industrial controls- 2 years
• 2-year technical degree or completion of trade school program (EET or Industrial Maintenance Technology) and/or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings
• Ability to travel up to 65% at times. (Including International travel)
• Ability to work up to 50% overtime when required.
