Job summary

Jobot is seeking Maintenance Technicians with PLC knowledge for an on-site role in Sherman, TX. The position offers $33-$40 per hour with a 2nd shift premium and a typical 45-hour work week.

You will troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in maintenance, strong problem-solving and teamwork skills, and the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a maintenance technician role within manufacturing.
• Proven experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.
• Technical training or certification in hydraulics, maintenance, or related field is desirable.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot a wide range of equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Adherence to safety protocols at all times.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Proficiency with power and hand tools for maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment and respond to signs of malfunction.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep machinery at peak performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and components using schematics and drawings.
• Coordinate with production to schedule repairs and minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Document all maintenance and repair work and keep accurate records.
• Keep the maintenance area clean, organized, and stocked with tools and supplies.
• Collaborate with other technicians and staff to solve complex problems.
