Job summary
Mondi Group in Leonia, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plant equipment, troubleshoot processes, and support ongoing production. You will read schematics, work with PLCs, and help build control panels per blueprints while ensuring safe, reliable operation.
The ideal candidate has experience with Siemens Step7 / TIA, Allen Bradley RS5000, SAP, and Microsoft Office, reads blueprints, operates lift trucks, and is willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to keep
Qualifications
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
- Experience with PLCs and process instrumentation.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair plant/buildings and grounds equipment.
- Troubleshoot and perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Upload, download, configure PLC programs and instruments.
- Build and wire control panels per blueprints and schematics.
- Perform daily rounds and monitor safety systems.
- Collaborate with Process Engineering and maintenance team to support operations.
