GROPYUS is seeking a Software Engineer (f/m/d) on the Product Delivery team to transform digital models into physical elements at scale within our manufacturing facility. You will understand and evolve PLC/OT code, bridging digital product delivery with production systems and helping implement Software Defined Manufacturing.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLC/OT, OPC-UA, MQTT, and languages like Python/C++/C#.

Competenze

Experience in PLC or OT technologies.
Experience with modern software engineering practices (code reviews, testing, CI/CD).
Experience operating and supporting large-scale software/OT systems.
Experience in logistics or manufacturing with understanding the commercial impact of downtime.
Proficient with PLC programming; Robot programming (KRL) is a plus; OPC-UA, MQTT; Python/C++/C# are a plus.
Familiar with monitoring and alerting practices for production systems.
Willing to travel to Richen manufacturing site as needed, within Germany and Austria.

Maintain monitoring, updates, latency, and efficiency to ensure software uptime.
Bridge between digital product delivery and physical logistics and manufacturing systems.
Define, monitor and evolve SLAs/SLOs and KPIs like OEE for critical systems.
