Job summary

Accredo Packaging, Inc. in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a PLC Technician to support reliability, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of production equipment.

You will provide electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation support for manufacturing operations, focusing on PLC-controlled systems and related control components. You will work with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment performance, and drive continuous improvement while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment or equivalent military experience.
• Maintenance certifications, licenses, or technical training preferred.
• Experience with PLC programming, industrial automation, and manufacturing control systems.
• Experience with CMMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLC-controlled equipment, electrical systems, and production machinery.
• Program, modify, and maintain PLC software, including ladder logic and structured text.
• Install, configure, and support PLC hardware, drives, sensors, and networks.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve reliability.
• Validate control system performance through testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Maintenance on upgrades and improvements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and CMMS data.
• Ensure OSHA safety, GMPs, and company policies.
• Operate equipment like forklifts and lift devices when required.
