Job summary

Penmac Staffing Services, Inc. seeks an experienced PLC Maintenance Technician for a full-time, 1st shift role in Mountain Home, AR. You will troubleshoot, repair, and program PLC systems to minimize downtime and keep production running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• PLC troubleshooting, repair, and programming experience required.
• Experience with electronic controls and basic electrical systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to safely troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, twisting, and repetitive motions.
• Operate or train on lifts and perform fall protection procedures.
• Willingness to complete safety training including LOTO, Arc Flash, HAZMAT, and Fall Protection.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and program PLC-controlled equipment.
• Respond quickly to production equipment issues and support rapid maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and automation problems.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks, including inspections and lubrication.
• Monitor downtime and report unresolved issues to leadership.
• Create and maintain work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Support equipment rebuilds and continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with maintenance providers and production teams for reliability.
• Promote safety and a team-oriented workplace.
