Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Minnesota is seeking an Industrial Controls Technician to support programming, troubleshooting, calibration, and project implementation for automated plant systems. Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years PLC and HMI programming experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic valves; sensors and limit switches.
• Ability to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience with full Industrial Control System project implementation.
• Knowledge of Electrical Safe Work Practices and motor control.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose and repair electrical systems of industrial machinery.
• Replace defective components and wiring; adjust mechanical parts.
• Maintain programming, hardware networking and communication; troubleshoot and fix failures.
• Oversee control system project implementation on hardware and software.
• Support predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
• Support internal projects and plant control upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with Change Management System; safety standards.
