Job summary
Inframark is seeking an experienced HMI Application Engineer to develop and configure HMI/SCADA applications for water and wastewater projects. You will set up customer systems, configure software (System Platform w/ OMI, InTouch, Ignition, VTScada, iFix, FactoryTalk View SE), and support FAT/SAT, training, and handover to operations.
In this role, you will travel regularly to startup, test, and demonstrate systems, collaborate with project teams, and ensure adherence to project methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of HMI/SCADA programming experience, preferably in Water & Wastewater industry.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft operating systems, networks, and HMI software (System Platform w/ OMI, InTouch, Ignition, VTScada, iFix, FactoryTalk View SE).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Receive project requirements and follow project methodology.
- Configure HMI/SCADA software and hardware at job sites.
- Perform FAT and SAT testing and provide training.
- Develop and deliver system documentation and reports.
- Interface with third-party systems via industrial protocols.
- Provide technical assistance to customers.
