Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking an experienced PLC Equipment Maintenance technician for the 3rd shift in Urbana, Ohio. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical industrial systems to ensure safe, efficient production.

You will read blueprints, work with 480V 3-phase systems, perform welding (MIG/TIG), and document activities in CMMS. Strong lean/ISO awareness and commitment to safety are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in industrial maintenance or skilled trades.
• 8+ years in electrical/mechanical industrial equipment maintenance.
• Proficient with PLCs and 480V 3-phase systems.
• Understand hydraulic, pneumatic and power transmission systems.
• Able to install, repair or diagnose faulty machinery and initiate corrective action.
• Skilled with hand and power tools, meters and service tools.
• Able to read blueprints, manuals and schematics.
• Maintain equipment for compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate across departments, provide support and teach others.
• Perform MIG/TIG welding and fabrication.
• Familiar with CMMS for documentation.
• Understand lean, 5S and ISO standards.
• Commitment to safety and production efficiencies.

Key Requirements

• Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or Skilled Trades
