Job summary

Nature’sBakery in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a PLC Technician to maintain and improve our automated packaging and processing lines. You’ll work night shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, collaborating with a skilled team to install, troubleshoot, and optimize controls and electrical systems.

You’ll tailor PLC/HMI programs, interpret schematics, and support capital projects while ensuring safety and reliability across our fast-growing bakery operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with automated industrial machinery and PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and PFDs.
• Knowledge of three-phase motor control and control system modifications.
• Familiarity with NEC and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support testing, data retrieval, and training for packaging and processing equipment.
• Develop and modify PLC and HMI programs; provide project engineering support.
• Troubleshoot controls, maintain documentation, and manage change control.
• Work around moving machinery and ensure plant reliability.
