Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Fort Myers is seeking a Maintenance Controls/PLC Tech to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical plant equipment, ensuring continuous production. You will assist in PM programs and support controls, automation, and programming needs, with a focus on Allen Bradley PLCs and HMI systems.

This role requires 5 years of manufacturing experience, high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• PLC programming expertise with ability to support large proprietary programs.
• Understanding of HMI software and PLC-based control systems.
• Familiarity with servo motion and motion controllers.
• Ability to troubleshoot device networks (DH+, Ethernet, etc.).
• Strong electrical skills and knowledge of instrumentation calibration.
• 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and possess own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment to ensure continuous operations.
• Assist in creation of PM programs and provide maintenance planning support.
• Support plant controls, automation, and programming needs.
• Operate forklift and other lifting equipment as needed and follow GMPs.
• Document work accurately and follow safety guidelines.
