Job summary

Unilever Jonesboro provides a holistic line of personal care brands. The Controls Technician will plan layouts, fabricate, install, maintain, and repair complex electrical equipment, while developing PLC programming and managing projects to boost safety and productivity.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, strong PLC skills, and ability to read blueprints; high school diploma or GED is required. Onsite, with full benefits and shift differential on 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in manufacturing with strong technical skills.
• 4-7 years mechanical experience preferred, packaging background helpful.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, Allen Bradley preferred.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, improve, and repair equipment across lines.
• Diagnose PLC and instrumentation problems; modify programs as needed.
• Develop and implement electrical/PLC projects to improve safety and productivity.
• Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on equipment.
• Read wiring diagrams, interpret data, and collaborate with teams.
