Job summary

Clarios is seeking a plant process engineer to continuously improve processes and equipment, including PLC programming changes and Six Sigma-driven uptime improvements. The role requires collaboration across multifunctional teams and external vendors for engineering deliverables, with a focus on safety and quality.

Candidates should have an engineering degree with 5–10 years of experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in PLC programming, Excel, and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with 5–10 years experience.
• Understanding of Project/Program Management Methodologies.
• Strong communication skills across multifunctional teams.
• Working knowledge of PLC programming and ladder logic.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and related programs.

Responsibilities

• Improve plant processes and equipment; design and implement PLC changes.
• Lead teams for process improvements and source/define SOWs for external engineering.
• Provide technical support for operations and capital projects; ensure safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate between plant and division engineering; report project status and results.
• Ensure new/modified specs are scheduled and meet performance specs.
• Identify downtime causes and develop elimination strategies.
