Job summary

Clarios' Canby plant in Oregon is seeking an on-shift maintenance technical leader to drive continuous improvement of plant processes and equipment, including PLC changes, documentation, and Six Sigma initiatives. You will work under the maintenance manager and collaborate with the engineering team.

The role requires knowledge of ladder logic, robotics diagnostics, and project management, with strong communication across multifunctional teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with work experience or Bachelor's in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Renewable Energy preferred).
• Working knowledge of PLC programming and ladder logic required.
• Experience in robotics programming, troubleshooting, and diagnostics preferred (Fanuc / Denso).
• Understanding of project/program management methodologies.
• Must possess good communication skills with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor/SolidWorks, Excel, PowerPoint, CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance manager and collaborate with engineering on shift.
• Manage the CMMS system on shift and monitor maintenance KPIs.
• Provide technical assistance for electrical or engineering problems.
• Lead process improvements using Pareto, DOE, FMEA analyses.
• Source vendors, define SOWs, and manage external contracts when used.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA standards in maintenance activities.
