Job summary

Caliber Smart is seeking a PLC Controls Engineer – Power Generation for our Houston, TX onsite team. You will program, test, and debug control logic on multiple PLC platforms, implement subsystem interfaces, and support HMI integration.

The role requires 10+ years PLC programming (Allen-Bradley Logix), 7+ years HMI/SCADA (FactoryTalk View), and strong skills with EtherNet/IP, electrical diagrams, and P&ID interpretation. Bachelor's or Master in Electrical/Electronics Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley Logix).
• 7+ years of HMI/SCADA design experience (FactoryTalk View).
• Knowledge of EtherNet/IP and ability to commission/troubleshoot/test control panel areas.
• Ability to read P&ID drawings and electrical/logic diagrams.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Team player who can own a control panel area from I/O check to high-volume testing.
