Job summary

Rose International is seeking a Cooling Controls Engineer to drive security enablement across cooling control products. This hands-on role focuses on taking existing and developing cooling products and ensuring security requirements are met before release.

You will work directly within CAREL, PLC, and network management development environments, writing and modifying code, enabling security functionality, testing changes, and supporting products through secure release.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of controls engineering, cooling controls, or controls software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with CAREL components and development platforms.
• Experience coding within PLC environments.
• Experience with network management controllers/cards.
• Active code development across controls platforms beyond configuration.
• Experience supporting products through development, testing, and release.
• Experience with CAREL 1tool and/or c.suite environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive security enablement for cooling control products throughout the development and release lifecycle.
• Enable security features by default in development environments prior to release.
• Write, modify, and maintain code across CAREL, PLC, and network management platforms.
• Implement security-related changes in existing controls applications.
• Test and validate controls after security changes.
• Troubleshoot coding and integration issues during development.

Position Overview

This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on taking existing and developing cooling products and ensuring they meet security requirements prior to release. The engineer will work directly within CAREL, PLC, and network management development environments, writing and modifying code, enabling security functionality, testing changes, and supporting products through secure release.
