Job summary

White Bear Lake Area Schools, ISD #624 is seeking a part-time Playground Supervisor for Birch Lake Elementary. The role involves supervising students, ensuring safety on the playground, maintaining social distancing, and keeping a calm environment.

Work is outdoors by default, with supervision by the Principal as needed. The position requires a high school diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors student behavior and maintains a safe, clean playground area; supports safe social distancing and a calm environment; performs related tasks as assigned by the Principal.
• Work is performed outside unless raining or below zero temperatures; duties may involve assisting with supervision during playground activities.

Job description

Salary Range: $23.25/hour per the Non-Affiliated Rates of Pay

Start Date: ASAP

Closing Date: Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.

Work Week: 2 Hours/Day 10:30-12:30 p.m. M-F with the opportunity for more hours.
