Job summary

SFUSD is seeking a Noon Monitor/Playground Aide (3593N) for Chinese Immersion Elementary School. This part-time, school-year role supports student safety, coordinates group activities, and helps supervise playtime and lunch.

The position sits within the Human Resources group in a mission-driven district setting. Ideal candidates demonstrate reliability, strong communication, patience, and the ability to collaborate with teachers and staff to maintain a safe playground while guiding students

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience working with children in supervised settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely between destinations on school grounds.
• Supervise students at playtime and maintain a harmonious playground environment.
• Organize group games and activities.
• Supervise lunch recesses in cafeteria and school yard.
• Assist students in wellness rooms and in restorative conversations when needed.
