San Francisco Unified School District seeks a Noon Monitor/Playground Aide for Mission Bay Elementary School. The role focuses on safe, supervised play, organized activities, and supportive interactions with students during recess, lunch, and wellness sessions.

The ideal candidate will foster a positive, inclusive environment and collaborate with school staff to support student well-being and learning.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience working with children under supervision of teachers or site managers.

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely between destinations on school grounds.
• Supervise students at playtime and maintain a harmonious playground atmosphere.
• Organize group games and activities.
• Supervise lunch recess in cafeteria and school yard.
• Assist students in wellness rooms.
• Engage in restorative conversations and support students in crisis.
• Walk the yards to resolve conflicts using intervention strategies.
