Job summary

Kids Connections Developmental Therapy Center in California is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to work with children and adolescents with autism and related developmental disabilities, helping them gain functional skills through play-based interventions.

You will develop individualized treatment plans and deliver therapy in clinic and via telehealth, addressing language, articulation, social communication, and functional communication needs with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current California Speech-Language Pathology license.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Pediatric experience preferred, including autism or developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized speech and language therapy to children and young adolescents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client strengths, needs, and goals.
• Deliver therapy through individual sessions and social groups in clinic and telehealth settings.
• Address receptive and expressive language, articulation, social communication, and functional communication needs.
• Complete evaluations, assessments, progress reports, and clinical documentation.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust treatment as appropriate.
• Provide caregiver education and training to support carryover across environments.
• Collaborate with ABA, OT, and other multidisciplinary team members.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Contribute to a fun, engaging, and supportive therapy environment for every child.
