Job summary

Hollywood Casino York is seeking a dependable cash handling professional to join our team. You will support guest transactions, maintain accuracy, and uphold internal controls within a fast-paced casino environment.

Responsibilities include managing vouchers, cash deposits, and chip exchanges, while staying informed about players’ clubs, promotions, and events. Prior experience with financial transactions and strong communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; one year of prior work experience or equivalent combination preferred.
• Money handling experience is preferred.
• Must be able to respond to guest inquiries.
• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be able to interpret various instructions (written, oral, etc.).
• Intermediate computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Server/Web-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops a thorough understanding of the player's club and stays current on promotions and events.
• Assists customers using the ACSC with enrolling, changing, or redeeming transactions in the player's club.
• Operates cash handling tasks including exchanges of gaming vouchers, cash deposits, and chip exchanges; responds to service issues.
• Runs reports and verification information for patron credit line requests per Credit Committee directives and PGCB regulations.
• Demonstrates proficiency in AS400 menus, internal controls, ACSC system, and department policies.
• Serves as property ambassador with knowledge of the casino and surrounding area.
• Builds relationships with loyal players to maximize personalized experiences and repeat visits.
• Functions as Main Bank Cashier as needed; may not serve as both Cage Cashier and Main Bank Cashier in one day.

• Develops a thorough understanding of player's club and remains current on all promotions and events.
• Assists customers utilizing the ACSC with enrolling, changing or redemption transactions in player's club in a positive, helpful manner to maintain accuracy.
• Operates with an impressed inventory of cash and perform exchanges of gaming vouchers for cash, exchange cash equivalents for Front Money Deposits, exchange approved checks for cash, exchange chips for cash, exchange markers for cash, perform chip transfers, issue gaming vouchers, complete emergency BV transactions and respond to service issues at the TRU's and Coin Max.
• Runs reports and verification information for patron credit line requests in accordance with directive of HCPN Credit Committee and PGCB regulations.
• Demonstrates proficiency in AS400 menus, Internal Controls, ACSC system, department policies/procedures and any other functions associated with the successful operation.
• Serves as property ambassador and has solid overall knowledge of the property, including the casino.
• Develops and maintains a good relationships with loyal players in order to maximize opportunity for personalized experience and return visits.
• Functions as a Main Bank Cashier as necessary; however, may not function as both a Player Services Cage Cashier and a Main Bank Cashier within a single gaming day.

• Must have intermediate computer knowledge and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Server and Web-based systems.
