Job summary

PENN Entertainment’s Hollywood Gaming at Dayton is seeking a proactive cashier to support our fast-paced casino floor. You will handle wagering transactions, process pari-mutuel and sports tickets, and ensure accurate cash handling while delivering friendly guest service.

This role focuses on accurate ticketing, loyalty enrollment, and strict adherence to gaming regulations, with growth opportunities within a dynamic entertainment environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• General cashiering background or prior money handling experience.
• Previous experience in race and sportsbook.
• Knowledge of tote system to place customer bets.
• Experience with jet sort, coin roller, check cashing and credit card cash advances.
• Efficient and accurate entry of guests wagers and payouts.
• Ability to follow department policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Explain wagering rules, lines, and odds, and procedures to customers.
• Process pari-mutuel wages in the tote with speed and accuracy.
• Write, verify, and pay out tickets for sports wagers per policy and gaming regulations.
• Enter player tracking information and enroll patrons into loyalty programs.
• Maintain cash bank and reconcile draws at end of shifts.
• Ensure compliance with Title 31 and gaming laws in daily tasks.

• Write, verify, and make payments on tickets for sports wagers in accordance with department policy and procedures and ensures compliance to applicable jurisdictional gaming statutes and

• Be knowledgeable and comply with Title 31
• Enroll patrons into the loyalty program, issue patrons loyalty program player cards, maintain accurate player tracking information, answer questions about patron’s accounts, and assist the Marketing Department with all gaming promotions.
