Job summary

Ohio State University is seeking a Player Development Coach for the Women’s Basketball program. The role focuses on enhancing student-athlete growth on and off the court, developing individualized plans, and mentoring athletes to build leadership and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

Job Description

The Player Development Coach for the Women’s Basketball program will play a pivotal role in enhancing student‑athlete growth both on and off the court. This individual will work closely with coaching staff, athletic trainers, and strength and conditioning coaches to develop and implement comprehensive, individualized player development plans. They will foster a high‑performance environment focused on skills development, overall personal growth, and assist with player development and post‑graduation success. Serve as a mentor for student‑athletes, helping them develop leadership skills, confidence, and a strong work ethic.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable.
  • 4 years of relevant experience required.
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.

Location: Schottenstein Center (0081)

Position Type: Temporary (Fixed Term)

Scheduled Hours: 40

Shift: Varying Shifts
