Job summary

Detroit Tigers seek a Player Development Associate to support daily operations of the Player Development department. This role serves as a central contact for players and staff across the minor league system, combining operational and administrative duties with player-facing responsibilities to enhance support for the program.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Improve internal systems and workflows for day-to-day Player Development operations.
• Support logistics for players and staff, including housing, travel and visas.
• Coordinate Florida Complex League operations with facility staff and other clubs.
• Distribute player development materials and game reports to staff and players.
• Track mandatory player training and education requirements.
• Assist with onboarding and lodging for newly drafted and signed players.
