Hampton Parks, Recreation & Leisure Services is seeking motivated candidates to provide hospitality to players of the Hamptons Golf Course. Player Assistants monitor play flow, courteously enforce on-course rules, handle inquiries, and ensure guest satisfaction from a golf cart.

This is a part-time position with no benefits, a rotating schedule with days off, and no night shifts. Training will be provided; candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be willing to work within

Player Assistants monitor the course for flow of play, courteously enforce on-course rules and regulations, tend to player inquiries and needs, and assure overall guest satisfaction on the course, all from a golf cart.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or successful completion of the GED.
• Previous experience and knowledge of golf course operations and the game of golf preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• Must successfully pass a background check related to this position prior to any offer of employment or promotion.

Additional Requirements

• Requires shift work to include nights, weekends and holidays.
• The incumbent may be considered “essential personnel” during city emergency situations, or at the direction of the City Manager or designee which may include long hours and unusual schedules.
