Job summary

Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, AZ is hiring a Part-Time Player Assistant. You’ll monitor pace of play, provide friendly customer service, and help the pro shop keep the pace accurate while supporting the course operations.

Qualified applicants should have a valid driver’s license, a strong work ethic, dependability, and a friendly personality. Knowledge of golf is preferred, and you will work in a fast-paced hospitality environment run by Troon.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance.
• Responsible for maintaining a reasonable pace of play on the golf courses.
• Communicate and assist the Pro Shop in keeping an accurate pace of play.
• Communicate with Starter and Pro Shop about any pace of play concerns.
• Assist Outside Staff Attendants as needed.
• Advises guests of course conditions, expected pace of play, local rules and other golf related issues.
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Southern Dunes Golf Club, located in Maricopa, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Player Assistant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

As a key member of the operations team, the Marshal is responsible for monitoring the pace of play on the course. In addition, a Marshal needs to provide our guests high quality customer service in a friendly and helpful manner.
