Job summary
San Pedro Golf Course in Benson, AZ is seeking a part-time Assistant Golf Professional to support golf operations, POS management, and guest service. You will assist with tee time scheduling, sales, and merchandising, while promoting club activities and events.
The role requires an AA or related experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and familiarity with POS and tee time systems. This position is with Troon-affiliated facilities and offers benefits.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (AA) or six months to one year related experience or training.
- Regularly stands, walks and sits; may lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to read and speak English to perform job duties.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and office software.
- Experience with computerized POS and tee time systems.
Responsibilities
- Assists in administering POS and tee time system revisions and needs for green fee and merchandise sales.
- Reconciles daily tee sheets, checks in members/guests, and processes payments; resolves discrepancies.
- Promotes club golf activities to members and guests.
- Maintains a clean, stocked golf shop and assists with merchandising.
- Prepares for golf outings, including scorecards, pairing sheets and related materials.
- Assists with associate training and enforces safe work practices.
