Job summary

Ellie Mental Health is seeking an Outpatient Play Therapist in Carrollton, TX. You will evaluate diagnoses for children and adults, develop and monitor treatment plans, and maintain meticulous case notes while collaborating with a dynamic team to close gaps in our community.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree, active clinical licensure, and experience in play therapy, with strong communication and documentation skills. Enjoy a values-driven workplace with supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral sciences field from an accredited college.
• Current clinical licensure (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP, etc.).
• Experience providing play therapy.
• Experience completing treatment plans and clinical case notes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to document services promptly and accurately.
• Comfort with a diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses for children and adults and create/implement treatment plans.
• Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with a team to serve the community.
• Use creative interventions to help clients reach goals.
• Prepare and submit session documentation per guidelines.
• Maintain a caseload of at least 25 client visits per week for full-time clinicians.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, school personnel, and other staff.
• Attend clinical staff meetings and trainings.
• Perform other meaningful duties as needed.
