Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a Playcenter Attendant at the Forsyth County Family YMCA. You will support child-centered activities, ensure safety, and engage families while upholding YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Responsibilities include welcoming children aged 3 months to 12 years, supervising play, completing check-in/out records, and assisting with program activities. CPR training is required within 30 days; prior experience with youth is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and have experience working with youth in a structured setting.
• Must complete required trainings prior to start; CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• Working knowledge of computers including MS Word and MS Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build committed relationships with members, volunteers and partners.
• Maintain privacy of members' information and uphold safety policies.
• Adhere to training manual policies and procedures; provide positive assistance to members.
