Job summary

Playland Mooresville Inc. is seeking FUN, POSITIVE, ENERGETIC and RESPONSIBLE team members to join our indoor playground and cafe in Mooresville, NC.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling cash, keeping the venue clean and safe, training as a barista, supervising play areas, and delivering excellent service during busy weekend shifts.

Weekend availability is required; both part-time and full-time positions are available.

Qualifications

• Cafe and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must be available to work most weekends.
• Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Ability to interact with children and adults, work cooperatively with others, and handle stressful situations.
• Physical requirements involve walking and standing, including climbing, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Must be able to pass a background check to work with children.
• Most of all, you must LOVE kids!

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in customers, handle cash register operations.
• Maintain a clean work/play environment; safety and cleanliness prioritized.
• Train to be a barista, make coffee drinks and food orders.
• Supervise play areas.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Organize play areas, keep toys neat and equipment clean.
• Explain and enforce Playland facility rules and policies.
• Answer phone calls; great communication skills required.
• Assist with birthday parties.
• Other duties as assigned.
