Job summary

Playland in Monroe, NC is seeking energetic, customer-focused team members to greet guests, handle cash operations, and maintain a clean, safe environment. The role includes barista training and supervising play areas, with an emphasis on exceptional service for kids and families.

Weekend availability is required. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, with duties spanning customer service, safety, party support, and daily operations in a busy indoor playground and cafe setting.

Qualifications

• Cafe and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must be available to work most weekends.
• Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Must be able to pass a background check to work with children.
• Most of all, you must LOVE kids!

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in customers, handle cash register operations.
• Maintain a clean work/play environment. SAFETY and CLEANLINESS are a priority.
• Train to be a barista, make coffee drinks and food orders.
• Supervise play areas.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Organize play areas, keep toys neat and equipment clean.
• Explain and enforce Playland facility rules and policies.
• Answer phone calls, great communication skills are required.
• Assist with birthday parties.
• Other duties as assigned.
