Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Food service and/or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to work with elderly and disabled residents in a healthcare community.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
• Take meal orders, serve food and beverages, and answer questions regarding the menu.
• Follow sanitary regulations at all times.
• Provide Platinum Service with each dining experience.
• Set up meal trays, food carts and dining room with utensils, napkins, and condiments; clean areas before and after meals.
• Assist in checking resident trays before distribution.
• Pour beverages and assist residents with containers, respecting resident preferences and needs.
• Prepare and deliver snacks for events and parties hosted at the community.
• Bus tables during and after meals; support other dining rooms during events as needed.
• Clean dining room areas according to schedules and assignments.
