Plating Technician I
3rd Shift: 11pm - 7:30am (MON-SAT)
Starting at $24.25/hr (includes shift differential) with a $1000 sign-on bonus after 90 days (based on performance/attendance).

Summary
Operate assigned equipment to execute metal finishing operations, ensuring product quality and process efficiency.

Overnight Activities Will Include:

• Loading and unloading tote pans of parts, stacking parts in baskets, racks, and/or barrels.
• Performing cleaning, etching, desmutting, pickling, bright-dipping, dyeing, degreasing, heat treating, plating, coating, wet processing, and drying of parts.
• Following prescribed procedures for processing and ensuring cleanliness of tanks and work areas.
• Monitoring solution temperatures and maintaining daily production logs.
• Physically inspecting processing to ensure product quality.
• Performing general utility work, material handling, and assisting with chemical handling and solution maintenance as needed.
• Troubleshooting simple to moderate problems.
• Ensuring the quality of the product produced.
• Possessing a basic understanding of chemistry and problem-solving abilities.
• Reading and comprehending simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Writing simple correspondence and effectively presenting information to other employees.
• Performing basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Contractors are required to wear steel or composite toe safety shoes and long sleeves.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check are required.
