Job summary

Plating Technician- GRINDER Apply

Dayton Must have grinding experience:OD & IDGrinding. Techmetals grinders u se grinding equipment to remove excess material, smooth rough edges, and achieve the desired surface finish on metal parts. Grinders e nsure that parts are ground to precise measurements, tolerances, and specifications as per the job requirements.

Surface Preparation:

Prepare metal surfaces for additional plating or finishing processes by smoothing out imperfections andother surface defects.

Make sure surfaces are uniform, clean, and free of contaminants that could affect the quality of the plating.

Maintenance and Operation of Equipment:

Operate and maintain grinding machines and tools, ensuring they are functioning correctly.

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on grinding equipment to prevent malfunctions and ensure efficient operation.

Safety and Cleanliness:

Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and hearing protection.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize the risk of accidents and ensure optimal working conditions.

Skills and Qualifications:
