Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an entry-level manufacturing associate to support finishing operations. You will load and unload totes, monitor solution temperatures, and ensure quality throughout the process.

The role involves maintaining tanks, assisting with chemical handling, and performing basic troubleshooting as needed. This position offers hands-on experience in a large electrical solutions company with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

  • Entry-level to experienced manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to operate hoists and handle parts safely.
  • Willingness to perform general utility work and record keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment per procedures.
  • Load/unload totes, baskets, and racks with parts for processing.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tanks and work areas and monitor solution temperatures.
  • Perform basic quality checks and document results as required.
  • Assist with chemical handling, solution maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.

Job description

Operates assigned equipment used in executing metal finishing operations.

Loads and unloads tote pans of parts, stacks parts in baskets, racks and/or barrels, racks, unracks, cleans, etches, desmuts, pickles, bright –dips dyes, degreases, heat treats, plates, coats, wet processes and dries parts. Uses electric hoists and manual lifting.

Following prescribed procedures for processing.

Fills baskets, racks, and/or barrels with parts to be processed and lowers material into appropriate tank.

Removes parts when process is completed.

Maintains cleanliness of tanks and work areas.

Monitors temperature of solutions.

Physically inspects processing to ensure quality of product.

May be required to perform general utility work, material handling, assist with chemical handling and solution maintenance and record keeping as needed.

May be asked to troubleshoot simple to moderate problems.

Is responsible for quality of product produced.

Performs other duties as required.
