Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Oklahoma is looking for an entry‑level to experienced manufacturing operator to operate finishing equipment, load and unload parts, and ensure safe, efficient processing.

You will follow prescribed procedures, monitor tank conditions, inspect quality, and keep work areas clean. The role may involve light lifting and basic chemical handling, with opportunities to grow within Hubbell's energy infrastructure business.

Qualifications

  • Quality of product depends on adherence to safety and process steps.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload tote pans of parts and manage baskets and racks.
  • Follow prescribed processing procedures.
  • Fill baskets and racks with parts for processing and lower into tanks.
  • Remove parts after processing and maintain tank cleanliness.
  • Monitor solution temperatures and inspect processing quality.
  • Assist with chemical handling, solution maintenance, and record keeping.
  • Troubleshoot simple to moderate problems and ensure product quality.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Operates assigned equipment used in executing metal finishing operations,

  • Loads and unloads tote pans of parts, stacks parts in baskets, racks and/or barrels, racks, unracks, cleans, etches, desmuts, pickles, bright –dips dyes, degreases, heat treats, plates, coats, wet processes and dries parts. Uses electric hoists and manual lifting.
  • Following prescribed procedures for processing.
  • Fills baskets, racks, and/or barrels with parts to be processed and lowers material into appropriate tank.
  • Removes parts when process is completed.
  • Maintains cleanliness of tanks and work areas.
  • Monitors temperature of solutions.
  • Physically inspects processing to ensure quality of product.
  • May be required to perform general utility work, material handling, assist with chemical handling and solution maintenance and record keeping as needed.
  • May be asked to troubleshoot simple to moderate problems.
  • Is responsible for quality of product produced.
  • Performs other duties as required.
