Job summary

EaglePicher Technologies is seeking a Plating Prep / Solder Dip Operator at our Southbridge, MA site. The role supports finishing operations in our electronic packaging production area, helping to meet quality and safety standards while handling multiple hands-on tasks.

You will perform plating prep, soldering, and related operations, working with a team to maintain schedules, assist with measurements, and train new staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or wet chemical process familiarity preferred.
• Must be able to work Monday-Friday 06:00am-2:30pm.

• Rack and wind simple battery covers.
• Rack and wind complex battery covers.
• Rack and wind Squips & Caterpillars.
• Hand and Sling solder copper.
• Hand and sling solder nickel.
• Paint parts/components.
• Blead Blast parts/components.
• Perform XRF measurements.
• Troubleshooting of issues relating to plating prep & soldering processes.
• Train and mentor department personnel and new plating process employees.

About The Position

The Plating Prep / Solder Dip Operator will work with other production team members in an assigned production area, with goals to meet production schedules in accordance with quality, cost, delivery, technical and safety standards. This position encompasses multiple different actual hands-on jobs, but these roles are all similar, and are all essential to the everyday operations of EaglePicher.

The salary range for this non-exempt position is $19.10 - $21.77 and represents the minimum and maximum for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including but not limited to: prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's qualifications and internal equity.
