Job summary

EaglePicher Technologies in Pittsburg, KS is seeking a Process Associate to support production across multiple assembly steps in a climate-controlled environment. You will perform hand assembly, load/unload parts on high-temperature equipment, and help ensure product quality in line with work instructions.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, good reading of drawings, and flexibility to work varied shifts. U.S.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • U.S. Persons.
  • Ability to be flexible and learn multiple assembly roles.
  • High attention to detail and ability to read and follow technical drawings, specifications and written instructions.
  • Ability to work with and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to lift and move upwards of 50 lbs.
  • Able to work flexible schedules when required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hand assembly of small parts in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Load and unload small parts onto a high temperature furnace conveyor.
  • Perform product inspections under magnification on small parts.
  • Use tools to connect small, delicate components to another component.
  • Operate small assembly equipment throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Perform equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Read and follow work instructions, including basic manufacturing drawings/depictions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes.

About The Position

Position supports the production needs of the group in various areas. Process Associate will support manufacturing function in delivering best quality product and will work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
