Job summary

RIE Coatings, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Plating Operator to support its metal finishing team. You'll operate plating lines, inspect parts, and maintain documentation to ensure high-quality finishes across diverse customers.

The role is full-time with a Mon-Thu 6:00am–3:30pm shift and Fri 6:00am–1:00pm, plus occasional overtime. Compensation includes $17/hour, a $1500 sign-on bonus, quarterly production bonuses, and benefits like medical/dental/vision and a 401(k) match.

Responsibilities

• Rack, mask, clean, rinse, and inspect parts for processing.
• Operate and monitor plating equipment and production lines.
• Follow established process instructions and adjust equipment as required.
• Inspect parts before and after processing to ensure quality standards are met.
• Record production information and process data accurately.
• Maintain required production and quality documentation.
• Work closely with teammates to meet production schedules.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Assist with other production duties as assigned.

RIE is looking for aPlatingOperator to join our metal finishing team. If you prefer a busy environment, take pride in producing high-quality products, and want to work with a great team, we'd love to hear from you!

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am to 3:30pm, Friday, 6:00am to 1:00pm

Overtime: Occasional overtime may be needed on a Saturday.

Pay: $17.00 per hour, with consideration for a higher starting rate for experience

Bonus: $1500 sign-on/retention bonus, plus quarterly bonuses based on achievement of production goals.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lift up to 65 pounds and rarely up to 75 pounds
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Maintain good hand-eye coordination and visual attention to detail
• Work around chemicals, coatings, and varying temperatures in a manufacturing environment
